Pre-Intermediate English

At this level you will quickly build up your vocabulary for essential, practical, every day communication, and will gain extensive practice of grammatical structures. Throughout the course, you work on pronunciation and word and sentence stress. Sessions are based around a good mix of interesting topics and activities which familiarise you with frequently used expressions during routine conversations.

Block I

Themes covered in this first block include family, people, travelling, holidays, music, eating out and life in general with relevant and necessary grammar.

Block II

The second block of the Pre-intermediate course looks at the language of socialising, learning processes, decision-making, fears and phobias, leisure activities, literature and more. Once again, grammar will form an integral part of all sessions. Completion of this course will improve your confidence when speaking English and give you the necessary skills and knowledge to continue your studies at Kickstart.
